There are a variety of ways for pupils to travel to The Marvell College. Situated in the heart of Bilton Grange Estate we are within walking distance for many pupils living on the Longhill, Greatfield and Bilton Grange Estates. We have 2 school buses (labelled MC1 and MC2) that pick up along the Bellfield, Howdale Road, Dunvegan Road and Salthouse Road areas. Please see the below attachment for the information and route maps for our school bus service. Many of our pupils also use the normal public bus service.
Pupils living around the Greatfield Estate area travel on the number 3 bus. Pupils living around the Holderness Road area travel on the number 4 bus. Should you not live along The Marvell College bus routes as outlined in the attached document, please use the link below to plan your child’s bus journey to school.
Pupils pay the same fare price regardless of whether they travel on the The Marvell College buses or the public service buses.
Pupils are also able to bike to school and store their bikes in our bike shed during the school hours. Pupils must provide their own secure bike lock. The bike shed is locked during the main school day. We would also recommend that pupils wear a helmet when riding a bike.
Pupils can also arrive by car or taxi. However please be aware that our school car park is locked from 2.50pm-3.10pm to allow for the safe exit of all pupils.
