Examination Invigilators - Casual
Grade 3 – £11.79 per hour

The Marvell College requires casual examination invigilators to join our existing team.
Successful candidates will be reliable, punctual and highly organised.
In addition, they will demonstrate an ability to remain calm, show clear understanding of examination guidelines following induction training, and be empathetic to the needs of candidates in a high pressure exam environment.
The Marvell College has gone from strength to strength since receiving a “Good” Ofsted report in July 2019. Since then, the school has been oversubscribed every year. Library and Literacy Intervention Assistant

Library and Literacy Intervention Assistant
Salary: Grade 5 (SCP 8 – 13) £25,992 - £28,163 pro rata
Actual Salary – £21,972 - £23,807
Hours: 36.25 per week - term time only plus 5 days
The Marvell College seek to appoint a Library and Literacy Intervention Assistant.
Working as part of a supportive team, the successful candidate will be passionate about developing students’ reading skills and will be committed to raising the profile of reading across the school. As part of the role, the Library and Literacy Intervention Assistant will:
- Develop the library as an effective resource
- Manage the library systems and students’ use of the resource
- Promote pupil conduct in the library in accordance with appropriate school policies
- Control stock and be the key point of reference for the SLS
- Promote the library resource to staff and pupils through enrichment opportunities
- Work with small groups of students to develop and promote reading skills cards.
The Marvell College continues to go from strength to strength. This was confirmed by another strong “Good” Ofsted report in July 2024.
