The Marvell College requires casual examination invigilators to join our existing team.
Successful candidates will be reliable, punctual and highly organised.
In addition, they will demonstrate an ability to remain calm, show clear understanding of examination guidelines following induction training, and be empathetic to the needs of candidates in a high pressure exam environment.
The Marvell College has gone from strength to strength since receiving a “Good” Ofsted report in July 2019. Since then, the school has been oversubscribed every year. Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 5 –7) £24,790 - £25,584 per annum
Actual salary – £20,967 - £21,639 pro rata
37 Hours: 8.00am – 4.15pm Monday to Thursday
8.00am – 3.45pm Friday
The Marvell College seek to appoint a person to join a team of committed, caring and enthusiastic staff who share the college philosophy that all pupils should have the opportunity to achieve. The college is committed to appointing high quality staff and supports their development.
We are seeking to appoint a Data & Attendance Assistant to join the Attendance department. The successful applicant will have a strong proven track record in administration and at least two years’ experience in an administrative role would be desirable. You must be able to produce a wide range of documents using Microsoft Office products such as, Word, Excel and Outlook. The person appointed must have high work standards, attention to detail, customer service and strong organisational skills.

The Marvell College seek to appoint an Educational Welfare Officer to join our talented pastoral team. The successful candidate will be highly skilful in engaging children and families in order to provide helpful support that leads to demonstrable improvements in school attendance and subsequently social, emotional and academic progress.
Applicants will need to demonstrate an understanding of the social and cultural factors that lead to higher rates of pupil absence and build strong relationships with children and families that are rooted in trust, mutual respect and a deep understanding of context.
The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children, understanding the impact this can have on their lives. They will understand, articulate and demonstrate their ability to form effective relationships with children that accelerate their progress by increasing their attendance.
