Clare Harlow Visit

On Thursday 27th February 2025, we had one of Hull Children’s Book Award shortlisted and Waterstone’s Children’s Book of the Year shortlisted author Clare Harlow visit TMC and speak to the pupils about her novel Tidemagic: The Many Faces of Ista Flit. Clare spoke about her writing process and how anyone can write a story from the stories that surround them. The pupils taking part in the James Reckitt Book Awards asked interesting questions about the illustrations and the editing process. We even had a budding author show their story to Clare.

We have copies of Tidemagic: The Many Faces of Ista Flit in the library and Miss Davies will ensue to have book 2 when it is published.
